Allah is the One Who created seven heavens in layers, and likewise for the earth. The divine command descends between them so you may know that Allah is Most Capable of everything and that Allah certainly encompasses all things in His knowledge.”

Certainly, the Earth is divided into several layers based on composition and physical properties. The main layers are:

1. **Crust:** The Earth’s outermost layer, divided into continental and oceanic crust.

2. **Mantle:** Beneath the crust, the mantle is a semi-solid layer that extends to a depth of about 2,900 kilometers (1,800 miles). It’s further divided into the upper mantle and the lower mantle.

3. **Outer Core:** Located beneath the mantle, the outer core is a liquid layer composed primarily of iron and nickel. It surrounds the inner core.

4. **Inner Core:** This is the Earth’s innermost layer, composed mainly of solid iron and nickel due to high pressure despite extremely high temperatures.

These layers vary in terms of composition, state (solid or liquid), and behavior, contributing to the dynamic processes that shape the Earth’s surface and interior.
