Time according to Einstein is the 4th dimension but comparative to him; an illiterate person could define it as something that you only realize the importance of when it is gone and then all you can do is regret or if you are wise you will keep in your conscious the value of time and how important it is in ones life. If Alexandre The Great had control over time he would had control over the whole world but sadly no such super power exist.
But the power to use time effectively is super. I personally believe realizing the importance of time is one of the crucial steps towards success and do you know what If I was taken back a few years of my life my choices would have been different but one thing I would have realized the importance of time and would have capitalized it more wisely and cunningly I must say.
About Pomodoro technique for the first time I had heard about it. It is a time management system which encourages people capitalize time and use effectively what time they have been allotted. You break for five minutes after 25 minutes of work and these 5 minute break are what is referred as Pomodoro.
For my task I chose to put my room in order. Firstly let me give you an overview of my room okay so the things to tidy up were basically drawers. So I have got 3 drawers in my dressing table, 2 in study table, and 2 in side table of bed. So I had reserved first 25 min for the dressing table. and the next were meant for the study and similarly for the side table drawers.
First 25 minutes
I was excited and also was energetic and went through the 2 drawers with breeze only distraction was the home ring bell. Although I was able to ignore it and was able to complete the task no issue although had to take the garbage out which was a hassle.
5 minutes break
I Jumped on the couch with phone in my hand and straight went to Instagram for relaxation.
2nd 25 minutes break
Next I had to take down the study drawers and boy they were heavy and lonely. I sort the unused and the unnecessary ones and then got rid of the unnecessary ones and put the unused but still useful in orderly fashion. In this activity I had a couple of interruptions but mostly went away as soon as I realized them.
5 minutes break
Again took a 5 minute break drank a glass of water and went to the kitchen to annoy my mom. (hehe)
3rd 25 minute break
Then it was the time to defeat the monster living in my side drawer always giving nightmares. Literally had a half eaten cocomo packet disgusting I know but what can I say it is what it is. The empty coca cola bottle also made me think of my life style and I was disappointed in myself Honestly!!!
This activity did reminded me of the dog training the trainer uses. Firstly he makes the dog do something and then rewards him with a treat. I mean humans are also animals!!!.
Really effective activity whoever reads this article should try this I highly endorse this.
