Scoring a 7+ in IELTS may seem challenging for many people, however, if you follow few methods ruthlessly you will find it doable and actually easy…

Language is not a college course that we can learn and forget later. Rather, it’s an ongoing process that alter the way we communicate with people, with a positive impact on the quality of this communication. Hence, it should be taken as a long lasting change that deserve some efforts.

Here are few methods that will help boost your language level including a decent IELTS score impulse.

First aid kit / Important tools

As mentioned, in order to improve your IELTS score you need to improve your actual language level, hence, these are the indispensable set of tools:

  • A block note and colorful pens: it’s very important to study using a pen and a set of papers/block notes, reading only is not enough.
  • Reverso dictionary: whatever your mother tongue, reverso will help you using the great feature of contextual translation

it has also a great chrome plugin and a mobile application

  • BBC learning English: British Broadcasting service (BBC) is a great source to uphold your English level, especially, the News and Learning English sections:

the easiest way to keep up is to visit the learning English website regularly, and to Subscribe to their you YouTube channel

  • ROAD to IELTS: although this one is not free. however, it provides a swift way to improve your performance, with great feedback tools and interactive lessons

Final notes:

  • make sure to have a daily routine of watching/listening to BBC leaning English, English speaking radio stations, and a good exposure to native English speaking.
  • build a vocabulary vault by recording all new vocabulary, expressions, grammar structure and interesting sentences in your block note, these will be the final revision material to be studied in the days prior to the exam.
  • try not to rush into the exam before finishing the whole plan, it will make a difference !
