In this world of competitive environment, there are many candidate for few positions. And in order to select the best, recruiters make use of CV shortlisting since they can only interview a handful of people. But that process is not perfect and many good candidates cannot make the cut.

So, what can you do to make sure your CV is shortlisted? Do it yourself i.e. go and hand over the CV to recruiter himself. Now, it is automatically shortlisted and you also have a personal connection as a by product.

That is exactly what i wanted to do. I searched on the internet and found the names of executives of different companies. But sadly, i couldn’t drop my CV to any of those because small companies don’t have an office in Lahore and bigger ones don’t allow you to meet the persons due to security reasons.

However, i learned what companies are there and practiced my elevator pitch which i think will help me in future.
