The goal is to develop the Flow State in your mind during the workout. This is a very powerful technique. Dr. Daniel Goleman discussed this concept in detail in his book Emotional Intelligence. Flow is the state when you engaged emotionally, physically and mentally in the activity you do.. It happens when you engage your both right and left hemisphere of your brain while you doing a certain task. You know you have reached this flow state when you feel like you start losing the sense of time and disconnected from the world while you doing a certain activity. When you reached the Flow you always feel you’re challenged during the peak of your performance..

We all reached the Flow State in one way or another:

  • You may reach it when you watched a very good scene in a play or a movie that makes you cry or laugh
  • You may reach it when you listen to hard rock or good beat that makes your enthusiasm and happiness level reached to the roof and want to dance all night long without getting tired!
  • You may reach it when you have a conversation with someone and you realized 2–3 hours passed so quickly like 3 minutes
