Interesting so far. Not all is as fantastic as the Apple event wants you to see, but I do like the ability to manage the home screens better, that’s awesome. I’ve not yet used the reminder/calendar links, but I certainly will. I don’t always slide quickly into new stuff, I like to take my time and actually learn it.

But the only real “glitch” is that thing about the new text “features” not showing up in non-18 equipped devices. Disappointing, frankly.

The other issue was a glitch in Numbers that got me stuck in “create a new file” mode, and made me create four fucking new files before managing to get out of it. Now that was irritating, but not iOS itself.

But otherwise, nothing earth shaking. I’m truly waiting for the new AirPods Pro 4 to come out. The hearing aid thing, recently approved by the FDA, is going to hopefully save me a ton of cash. And so far, the 2 model I’ve got now sure slides seamlessly from one device to another, even sitting right next to them side by side. Once I start to use the keyboard of the iMac, it connects instantly, and the same when I unlock the iPhone or the iPad.

This is one of the reason I buy Apple. The virtual seamless ecology, moving from one device to not her and everything is available instantly.

It’s a shame some folks just don’t understand how awesome that part truly is.
