Well, there are lies, and there are REAL lies. Political grandstanding and making different claims about your opponents' positions are one thing - politicians in this country have been doing that for a cou[ple of centuries now - what the Republicans are doing in today's environment is a completely different ball of wax.

You can't tell me that anything either of those two you mentioned have ever lied like the current crop of republicans do - including Trump, who has been DOCUMENTED as lying in numbers as high as five figures - and that was just while he was in office.

Nobody is saying that any of them are perfectly clean, and nice people - they're politicians. But there is and always has been a difference between political kinds of fudging the truth and the kind of lies the GOP is putting out almost 24/7. The only time they stop is when they're asleep, and they've got media minions to keep THAT going.
