Football Movies on TheMoviesFlix that Moved Me
Being a sports fanatic has become a hobby for watching sports games on television and sports films in particular. From a young age I have always enjoyed watching sports movies on themoviesflix more than any other type of movie — be it drama, comedy, or whatever. Of all the sports films, I am especially attracted to football movies. I have listed here some of my favorite football films where you will see players wearing soccer boots.
Waterboy
Waterboy is one of my favorite films in football. It stars Adam Sandler. We all know that any movie with Adam Sandler in it is gorgeous and full of fun gags and more. Waterboy is not your usual football film. It doesn’t just show players wearing soccer boots that win games. Waterboy is all about inferiority, hard work, and ultimate victory. It also has a simple revenge feature that makes you feel happy after watching it.
Remember the Titans
Another film I never miss every time I watch it on HBO is Remember the Titans. The movie on moviesflix plays Denzel Washington as the coach of a soccer team. This movie will show you more than just football boots, kicks, and screaming. This movie shows heart, unity, and inspiration. Moreover, it is based on fact.
Home Team
If you speak Any Given Sunday to a crowd of movie-loving movie lovers you will definitely get the sound, and I am one of them for sure. The movie on the moviesflix has been hailed by many as one of the best football movies in the world. In addition to starring star actors including Pacino, Quad, and Foxx the movie has a realistic feel for the players on the field wearing soccer boots. Any Dedicated Church will show you the meaning of redemption and determination in the most unexpected situations and it works well.
Ruddy
And my favorite of all the football films is Rudy. The movie has set standards for inspiring sports films. The film starring Sean Astin is about a poor boy who can’t even have his football boots and his dreams of playing on the field. It was not a walk in Rudy Park as he had to face opposition forces in the ways of his parents, brother, priest, and even his team. But he broke them all, a real demonstration of determination and resilience.
