On the bright side you’ve learned alot and so I wouldn’t consider these projects “worthless”. Failure always precedes success but that implies not continuing to make the same mistakes. I suggest you focus on learning to validate the market before you commit to building. The market is the most important thing in a business. For a business to succeed it needs to serve a need of a market, be able to reach that market and have a monetization strategy for that market. I would spend some time reading about marketing, not writing click-bait copy but understanding how to validate a need before building, how to define and throw together an MVP, how to get feedback from your target market (even if you don’t have a product yet). Also, don’t think you need to create something totally original to make money. Often you can find a product that already exists in some capacity but has some flaws you could address with your skillset. If customers are complaining about an existing product not meeting their needs, you’ve caught the scent of something worth exploring. As others have said, don’t chase money, find a need to solve, find a way to provide something valuable. Money is the side-effect of being valuable.
