I am pretty lost with or without you

Oregon marked the chapter where I embarked on my journey as a doctor during my internship. It was the early stages of our relationship, and we found ourselves grappling with the challenges of a long-distance dynamic. Juggling the demands of work, I often returned home weary, only to find you in a similar state — busy with projects, both of us drained of energy. Naturally, this took a toll on us, leading to frequent fights. There was a particular moment when our words became more than just a disagreement; they were inconsiderate and escalated into an overboard argument.

On one of those challenging days, feeling the weight of my exhausting internship, I decided to seek solace at Crater Lake after my shift. During the drive, every song on the radio seemed to echo memories of you. It dawned on me — I was lost without you. Despite the urge to call and mend things, I recognized the need for both of us to take some time. Arriving at Crater Lake, the cold breeze of early winter inexplicably comforted me. Taking a deep breath, I cleared my mind, realizing that, amidst the chaos, we could find our way back to each other.

The six-month internship journey hasn’t been easy, but here we are, a testament to our resilience. It’s amazing how we’ve navigated through challenges and grown stronger. I have faith in us.

P.S. Wow, that was quite a long letter from me. Did you get through it all right? By the way, I’ve included a mini succulent in the package. Before you jump into the whole lecture about the harm of stuffing a live plant into a box with no light or water, don’t worry — it’s a fake succulent! No plants were harmed in the making of this package. Okay?
