The Mystery Of His Wings By Rabbi Jonathan Cahn
Evening Devotional Message
Wednesday, October 17, 2018
Malachi 4:2 says, โ...the Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings.โ That Hebrew word, in this text, for wings is Kanaph. Kanaph is also the name of a sacred fringe called tzitzit that is on the tallit or prayer shawl of Jewish men. Messiah wore them on the corners of His garments in obedience to the Scripture. The woman with the issue of blood was speaking about the Kanaph or the Tzitzit when she said, โIf I can just touch His garment, I will be healed.โ When Malachi says the Son of Righteousness (which is Messiah) will rise with healing in His wings, the healing is to come in the fringe of His garment! You can be healed! Messiahโs Kanaph can be touched. If you want to be healed, donโt focus so much on the healing, but on Messiah. Grab hold of His sacred fringe. For blessings come not when you focus on blessings but when you focus on Him and grab hold. For the Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in the fringe of His garment.
