CS371p: Week of 28 Oct — 3 Nov
What did you do this past week?
This past week I have been studying for my upcoming tests next week. I also went to work throughout the week, so that was very nice.
What’s in your way?
Time is my biggest enemy. There seems to never be enough time to do everything that is needed to be done. I find time to be a big challenge to deal with because even though I try to organize my time efficiently, I can never seem to have enough time.
What will you do next week?
I have two upcoming tests next week. On Monday, I have my second exam for Algorithms and Complexity class. I am going to focus most of time prior to the exam on studying for this test. After I complete this test, I am going to split my time on my next two tasks. I have an exam for Chemistry class on Tuesday night, as well as a homework due for iOS Mobile Computing class. I will try to get the homework done early and study for the exam. After both of those tasks are completed, I will have to work on completing the next project that is due for this class, Darwin. Both Darwin and the Beta version of my semester project for iOS class are due on Thursday, so I am also going to have to split my time between these two tasks.
What was your experience of the vector implementation? (this question will vary, week to week)
The vector implementation shows me a lot that I did not think about before. Understanding the implementation of vector allows me to understand how to use it correctly and efficiently.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
I am trying a different approach to my time management skills. This week, I have decided to start organizing my time by writing down my planned day on a piece of paper. I am writing an hour by hour schedule for myself in order to stay on track of my commitments. So far, I have noticed that it is helping me tremendously, so if it sounds like it could work for you, then give it a shot!
