Mindset is EVERYTHING

Our mindset creates our reality 100% of the time.

If you are in doubt about this then take a good long look around you, be honest, take full responsibility for yourself and see how your thoughts, feelings and beliefs have shaped your present day life.

This can be a painful exercise or a joyful one. But here’s the deal, if your current life situation is less than successful, less than wealthy, less than joyful, less than all that you have dreamed of, YOU have the power to change it.

If you created it by golly you can change it!

Many years ago and still today I hear my artist friends in San Francisco and indeed everywhere refer to themselves as “a starving artist”, the dreaded starving artist syndrome!

Many moons ago I had just embarked on my artistic career in San Francisco and I was constantly hearing this non supportive belief spew from the mouths of my creative community. To me it just did not make any sense. I was confused as to how they were going to be successful in their chosen career path if they continuously programed themselves to be a starving artist.

I consciously chose, without compromise, to NOT buy into their reality. Every time I would hear one of them refer to themselves as a starving artist instantly I would tell myself strongly that I am NOT a starving artist and never will be.

When they tried to project this limited belief system onto me I would inform them that I was not and never will be a starving artist however if they wanted to create that for themselves then go right ahead.

Guess what…it worked. My business grew to a six figure business. Many of my clients were leaders and celebrities, my work was featured on magazine covers, on television and my life and business flourished while many of my artist friends remained…yep you guessed it…a starving artist.

It’s all a matter of choice.

I could have chosen to be unaware of my surroundings and just fallen into the collective poverty belief of most artists everywhere but what I did instead is to take full responsibility for my life and choose another reality, a more empowered reality, a reality more aligned with the life I want to lead, a life that is the birthright of us all, success, creativity, joy and wealth.
