The Independent to become a digital only news organisation
The Independent and its sister paper the Independent on Sunday have announced they are stopping printed editions for a digital-only future.
ESI Media have said there would be some redundancies but that there would also be 25 new digital roles.
The last print edition of The Independent will be published on 26 March and the last of the Independent on Sunday will be on 20 March.

The Independent which was set up in 1986, made the decision to become digital only, to invest in high quality editorial content that is attracting more readers to online platforms.
This is a big move for the Independent after 30 years as a daily newspaper. It shows a demand for digital news and online platforms.
