Aion Network is proud to announce that the 1,000,000th block has been mined on our public network! This milestone showcases the amazing support, adoption, and growth we’ve seen in our community starting in 2017. Massive thank you to all in the community who started with us in BetaNet, and the many more who have joined after the genesis block launched at 12:00 am (EST) April 25th, 2018.
Since launch we have been supported by over 2,100 miners who have earned 1,400,919.95 AION in rewards. Aion Network has also been supported by a number of Mining Pools and developers who have built tools and provide services.
The ecosystem continues to grow, and Aion is at a key inflection point. Over the next few months the floodgates will be opened through the Aion Token Bridge. There are currently over 20,000 wallets holding the Aion Token ready to be swapped for Aion Coins. Over this period we are excited to introduce great products and services built on Aion, as well as a number of asset exchanges to support the community.
As the Aion network grows, The Foundation is also expanding, with additional resources and efforts focused on organizational transparency, education and documentation, insights, analysis and research, as well as delivering the best tools and platform possible.
