5 Tips to Restore Order to Your Life

Sometimes it feels like you can’t get a grip of your life and that everything’s just looks like a complete mess. You’re drowning in work and things don’t seem the way they should be. Wrong!

Here are a few tips that will restore order back to your life. Read them and you’ll put your life back on the track in no time.

1. Organize Those Emails!

Emails, emails, emails. How much time do we spend on them in a day’s work, not to say in our own free time? Even worse, how many mail accounts do you have and track? It’s time to organize and sync your accounts into one, and prioritize what you should read during the day. It doesn’t mean you should delete your old Hotmail account — but you should use services like MailWise that will keep the workflow steady for you, and more important — your eyes less sore and your mind free.

2. Stay away from the computer

We spend most of our day in front of the computer, at home or at work. It’s not easy to focus all that time in front of the screen — it gets tiresome after a while and your work becomes ineffective. Take short breaks, move your arms and free them. Go outside, breathe some fresh air and take a walk for a few minutes. After all those, you’ll become a new person and your work rate will increase in no time.

3. Go Outside

After a day’s work, all you want to do is crash on the couch in front of the TV or your laptop. It sounds like the easiest way to end your day, but it also enables to slide into despair. We believe that once you get home, change clothes and go outside. Run, take a walk, do what you feel is right. If you can’t go out without your phone for a short while, then use it wisely. Apps like Runkeeper and Runtastic will keep track of the miles you ran, and will push you to go out of the house more, keep in shape, and more important, improve your well-being.

4. Talk to a Friend

A friend in need is a friend indeed — the people around are the ones who’ll help you most when you’re down and out, or just need a slight push back up.Talking with a friend on the phone or on various social media platforms can always help. But there’s nothing like meeting a friend in person to get out of the jam.

5. Prioritize!

Prioritizing can be one of the most difficult things to do on a daily basis. Many people may lack that skill, due to various reasons, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be treated. You can write notes or post bulletins to remind you of your daily schedule or errands, but technology makes our lives much easier with to do list apps like Wunderlist and Todoist.

Keep track of your time — don’t let your hectic day take control of your life. Organize and prioritize it.

These are only a few tips, but they can vastly improve your life, and most important, restore order to it.
