It’s gratifying to read of an experience like this, less than two months since hearing from a good friend in the United States concerning his sister-in-law’s near-miraculous experience in Lagos, Nigeria.
She suffered a stroke while driving alone in bustling Lagos, and could only manage to pull over to the roadside before slumping, unconscious, at the wheel, with her handbag beside her on the front seat.
A vigilant driver (not a passer-by) sensed something untoward and doubled back to investigate. Rummaging through her handbag, he determined her identity and medical provider, secured her car and then transferred her to his own and took her to hospital where she is now recovering the use of the right side of her body through physiotherapy.
