Class 1 Medical Test Requirements — Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)

Medical fitness is per requisite for obtaining commercial pilot license and subsequently retaining it. For Class 1 Medical Test Requirements Commercial pilot must hold Class I Medical and renew it every year. The periodicity reduces to half after attaining the age of 60 years.

The Class I Medicals are conducted at AFCME, New Delhi, IAM Bangalore and MEC Jorhat. The Medical appointment can be obtained through medical branch at the DGCA. There is a waiting list and it may take over a month to get the appointment. Read more…
