How to Make P2P Deposits and Withdrawals in Airtm Using Your US Bank Account
We finally brought back P2P US bank transfers in Airtm! Below you will find a tutorial on how to use your US bank account to deposit to and withdraw from your Airtm account.
Depositing from your US bank account to your Airtm wallet is just like any other payment method: fast and simple.
- Click on the option to “Deposit to Airtm” option from your Dashboard
2. Next, select in the payment method category the option “Bank Transfer”
3. Select the country in which your bank account is located in. In this case, it would be “USA.”
4. Enter in the amount that you wish to deposit from your US bank account. You will be shown a table with the amount in dollars that will be credited to your Airtm account.
5. Fill in your bank account information, and submit your request.
6. A peer, verified by Airtm, will accept your transaction.
7. Next, check your peer’s provided bank account information and proceed to send him a bank transfer.
8. The Airtm peer will confirm once the correct amount has entered his account, and you will see your dollars in your Airtm account.
If you wish to withdraw your funds from your Airtm account to local money, the process is just as easy:
- Click on the option: “Withdraw from Airtm”
2. Select as category payment method “bank transfer”
3. Select the country for the bank account in which you wish to withdraw your funds to (in this case US)
4. Enter in the amount you wish withdraw into local currency.
5. Do not forget to check the table that reflects the amount in dollars that will be debited
6. Fill in your bank account details and send your request.
7. A verified Airtm peer will accept your transaction, and after checking your bank account details, will proceed to send you a bank transfer from his local bank account to yours.
8. Your peer will confirm that he completed the transfer. Next, you should make sure you the requested amount in dollars is in your bank account. If so, you can confirm the transaction on Airtm and the dollars will be debited from your Airtm account.
