Alex Turner’s soundtrack for “Submarine” is seriously something else. It’s like he’s taken the words right out of my teenage soul and turned them into music that fits the movie perfectly. The first song “Stuck on the Puzzle” is actually phenomenal. It’s like he’s singing the story of my brain whenever I’m obsessing over a crush. And “Piledriver Waltz” just hits different – it’s all the excitement and nerves of having a crush rolled into one tune.

Then there’s “It’s Hard to Get Around the Wind.” That song just gets me, especially when things start getting messy between the characters. It’s like the background music for those moments when life gets a bit too real.

And don’t even get me started on “Glass in the Park.” It’s like the anthem of drama and emotion, cranking up the intensity in just the right places. When that song plays, it’s like the movie turns into something you wish would happen to you in real life.

“Submarine” wouldn’t be the same without Alex Turner’s music. His songs are like the unspoken thoughts of the characters, adding a whole new layer of emotion to every scene. It’s like I’m right there with them, feeling all those crazy ups and downs of growing up, falling in love, and dealing with heartache. This soundtrack isn’t just music; it’s a direct line to the heart of the movie and the feelings it’s trying to put into words
