You can do a lot more with Instagram stories than just posting pictures.

Here are some tips for you to get more engagement through Instagram stories.

Use All That Instagram Offers

IG stories have so many features like GIFs, stickers, music, hashtag, poll etc. You should use all of them to get the most out of your efforts.

  1. GIFs— It is my favorite feature among all. You get cute sparkling GIFs that define your mood, and feelings. With GIFs, you can make your stories look good.
  2. Stickers — Use this oldest feature of IG stories.
  3. Music — Instagram added this feature in June 2018. But it is still not available in many countries. If you have it in your country then adding music to the stories is not a problem. You don’t need to download different music apps. This is by far the most useful feature by Instagram.
  4. Ask me anything — It is the feature for engaging more audience. With this feature, you can create a connection with your followers fast. It builds more engagement and drives traffic to your Instagram profile.
  5. Poll — It is a great feature to engage your followers by asking for their opinion on what you are doing.
  6. Add Hashtags.
  7. Add Locations.

While you use these apps keep in mind the following.

  1. Keep your message short and sweet so that people can easily understand.
  2. Use vertical videos.
  3. Don’t forget to add your brand logo to your stories because sometimes your followers can’t see your brand name because it is in the corner.
  4. Create a strong call to action by pasting swipe up or arrow sticker for easy visibility to the link.
  5. Also, create highlights.

It does not end here. Once you have covered the basics, take your IG Stories to a new level by using the apps.

8 Apps to Make IG Stories Engaging

Let’s start with the apps you need to edit and make your stories attractive so that people don’t skip them.
