Career Options for English Graduates

Gradutaion is a milestone in everyone’s life. But what after that is a question every graduates have. In this article, I would be discussing some career options for English students after grdaution.

1. The first would defintiley be Teaching. Schools and higher educational institutions are in need of language teachers, promintely English language teacher, because of the importance of the language in this day and age. If you are targeting school teaching, it is goof that you complete an education degree too.
2. Digital Marketing: Yet another awesome choice for English degree holder. I little knowldge of the web and technology and a good command over the languauge is the right mix, and ofcourse, marketing is the area you should be focusing on.
3. Public Relations/ Human Resource Management: If you have a good personlity and your communication skills are top notch, Public Relations and Human Resource Management is another area of profession that you may choose. Problem solving skills are to be developed.
4. Journalism and Media: A popular job sector for English students, who have had Journalism as their complementary is Media. Alathough, a Mass Communication degree would add value to your resume, if you are planning for this.
5. Creative Writing: Are you an amateur writer. Do you have an inclination towards writing novels, short stories, poems etc. Then you should be a creative writer.
6. Content Writing: Anything you see on any of the websites are content writing pieces. Businesses are trying to go digital and they are seraching for content writers.
