Litesport International Limited will host its 1st Edition of the Amuwo Odofin CHAMPIONS CUP. We at LiteSport understand that sport is first and foremost to be participated in, enjoyed by all those who wish to. Therefore, the CHAMPIONS CUP is set to provide great health benefits and other sources of enjoyment, including social interactions, establishing friendship, and also help in discovering, improve, showcase, develop, create opportunities for potentials and talent to be maximized appropriately.
CHAMPIONS CUP is organized to create an eventful engagement for grass root footballers, and also promote, produce valuable exposure, encourage and help further their career ambitions with suitable opportunities as we look to bring in football agents to scout for players.
The tournament is scheduled to kick-off on Saturday 18th of March 2017 by 3pm at the Unity Primary School Field, Mile 2 Jakande Estate, Lagos Nigeria and will feature 32 Teams for a Home and Away knockout format in which a large number of team enter into a tournament and need to be eliminated until two (2) survive to contest the final. All matches are played to a result from the round of 16 which is a single game.
This important event aims to achieve the following specific objectives:
* To Showcase Nigeria’s potential
* To Promote and highlight the role of grass root tournament
* To Create a favorable business condition between club owners/managers and football agents
* To help create grassroot football development
* To bring together players, football agents, coaches, and investors “under one roof”.
Litesport Int’l Ltd has credibility and qualification for organizing sporting event due to the level of industry experts we have on our team following the success of the Amuwo League and the Charity Football which the likes of Henry Nwosu, Victor Agali, Dele Bob Manuel, Emmanuel Olisadebe where among those who graced the event to reach out to the less fortunate. LiteSport aim to create a meaningful impact to our community and the nation at large through sport with this new initiative.
