Do we know how weird normal is?

I myself am interested in paranormal research. I’m not the type to go out with equipment and prove it for myself, but I’m curious about the possibilities. I’m a bit of a skeptic, and maybe it was an affinity for Agent Scully growing up, but I felt the need to prove it wasn’t happening as much as others wanted to prove it was. I was interested in finding ways it couldn’t be true. Now, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s possible paranormal events are valid. It’s possible they’re actually very normal events blown out of proportion. But the power of the imagination is what’s important, because it doesn’t matter if it’s real or not. It exists to that person, and then really it becomes a philosophical question of what existence really is.

I personally like to think that either is possible. The paranormal events are normal events we don’t have answers for — yet. But who’s to say it isn’t paranormal, but science may one day explain it? Only time will really tell.
