But that’s the problem. Black people cannot be successful in this country without any White people in their circle. However, you can be a successful White person without having any Black people in their circle. The status quo is not okay because it provides no incentive for White people to expand their circle or have a diverse circle. That, in turn, perpetuates the cycle and companies continue to look the same.
