If you’re a UI/UX designer or a web designer, you might be already familiar with Figma and what it can do for you. But did you know that some simple Figma tips and tricks can now make your task even easier? In this blog, we will tell you Figma’s must-know tips and tricks. Let’s begin with the auto layout. The most amazing feature of Figma!

Import multiple pictures at once

UX UI Designers frequently use photographs and images in their designs, and it would be quite helpful if designers could make updating single and numerous images in a more simple way. So you can import multiple photos into Figma by using the Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + K shortcut and then insert them one by one in the layers or as objects wherever you want them to. Also, you can watch the photographs being imported and positioned in real time.

Rename layers much more efficiently

It’s always a good idea to keep your Figma files organized as you work, with a clear naming system and hierarchy for each layer. When it comes to renaming your layers, avoid using plugins and instead use one of Figma’s built-in methods. ‘Rename.’ Simply select the layers you want to rename in bulk and open the window with the shortcut Cmd + R to make the necessary changes.

Quickly modify the opacity

The endless cycle of mouse movements can be exhausting for a UI UX Designer; if you want to modify the opacity of shapes or objects quickly, all you have to do is click on them and press the desired percentage. It will be like; 10 for 10%, 25 for 25%, and so on.

Resize instantly

Simple just press K while choosing a frame or an element and the scale tool will appear. It will allow you to resize the element or a frame while keeping it proportionate. Also, while resizing, hold down the alt/option key to raise the size from the center.

Copy/Paste all elements

When duplicating an element or simply copying its style, you can rapidly copy the element’s properties with Ctrl/Cmd + Alt + C and paste them on a new element Ctrl/Cmd + V. It’s especially useful for copying or pasting pictures and styling components that have numerous characteristics, such as fill and stroke.

Summary

These are a few Figma tips and tricks every UI UX designer should try out. Figma is unquestionably the way to go if you’re searching for design templates, icons, high-performance tools, a better approach to managing design operations, responsive and elegant designs, easy access to developer tools, and a strong community of developers and apps.
