That’s so true. I face this dilemma so often and give up because of precisely this. Perfection denotes success in most of our minds and so the fear of failure kicks in and prevents us from moving the ball forward. This is my first comment on Medium although I’ve been reading for the past few weeks. All this while I guess I’ve been waiting to make the “perfect” comment and now I’m “ok” with embracing whatever it is :)
I agree that accepting “Being ok” as a step to “Being great” is the first step. Following through — the more time you spend repeating tasks those tasks (10,000 hour principle), the more “Ok” you will be at accepting it, embracing who you are and achieving greatness.
