Mediocrity

Being mediocre is a sin ,a bane and what not !

Here’s the case of Rohit,a student just like YOU and ME.(oh,and if your name is Rohit ,don’t be angry,this Rohit isn’t you!)

'Rohit was perplexed .He did not know which stream to choose. Though he did know that his parents ,friends ,relatives and that neighboring aunty(and her sister in law too)wanted him to take stream X(you thought I would say science,huh?).

20 years later……
Rohit regrets the decision to this day.he has achieved nothing in life ,unless you call being stuck with an average paying job with no ambition whatsoever one.And the rest of his life carried on thus.’

What I mean to say here is that being mediocre at something(I mean ANYTHING,not just academics,or job etc. )won’t get you anywhere in life. ‘Cause in this world,no one respects mediocrity.It’s actually worse than being terrible at something because then,you know that you aren’t made for it,which unfortunately isn’t the case with being mediocre .

One will keep trying to become better but like most if them,he/she too won’t be able to be one of the best unless he/she has a genuine passion for it.
So,if you take up anything,be the best in it,or don’t take it up at all ,but NEVER BE MEDIOCRE .Don’t become a Rohit.(that’s a metaphor ,I won’t(and can’t ) stop you from renaming yourself Rohit if you want to )
