WHY SHOULD WE LOVE AND RESPECT OURSELVES? BECAUSE, EVEN SIRI AND ALEXA CAN’T MATCH OUR SPONTANEITY AND CREATIVITY

Last night, a young kid named Eden Cohen sent a request over Quora, wanting to know as to why she should respect and love herself.

It really pained me.

Because, I believe, in these challenging, stressful times we have put the entire human universe into meaningless pursuits and thereby resultant loss of feeling as to what it means to be a human.

I am sharing the answer which I gave to her as it is just not for her, but for all of us, to revisit the fundamental existential truth as to what a beautiful creation we all are, which is full of all sorts of possibilities.

All we need to do to sit back and recount the following which I told to her.

I told her:

“Dear Eden,

You should love and respect yourself because, not just your creator but entire human civilization has been awaiting you.

Just look at yourself. What a fine feeling breathing thinking machine that you are. You are the most Beautiful creation of the Creator, whoever it may be.

Just sit back and think, what a fine individual that you are. Just imagine all the possibilities which your tremendous potential can help you achieve.

All you need to do is prepare,strive, achieve provided you learn to manage the road bumps, on that journey and also arrange for the resources and people along the way to help you in the pursuit.

Just imagine the myriad tastes that you can savor.The fragrances that your nose can help you soak in to. The musical melodies that you can enjoy. There is so much beauty all around, right from beautiful sights to poetry. to literature to cinema. There is an entire range of human emotions waiting to be explored and experienced.

From now on, start believing that whole human civilization for last 5000–10,000 years has been busy preparing all sorts of beauties, techniques and technologies just for you, to come, enjoy, celebrate and be happy.

Also Imagine the purpose that you can pursue and derive so much pleasure and happiness from the challenges thrown by such pursuit, which despite the exhaustion will leave you satisfied.

The way you can see and interpret things even much hyped “Artificial intelligence” can’t do.

Even Siri and Alexa can’t match your spontaneity and creativity!”
