Back to Growth

It’s been long I’ve been on a reading spree. Past 6 months have been a complete roller-coaster — Confusion, Dilemma, Stress had become the norm of everyday life. Now that I’m settling into a new life at a new place in a new job fresh out of a college, I’ve decided to get back to learning and growing with an incremental progress each day —

  1. Reading. I’ve always loved reading — Be it fiction work of Jefferey Archer or Non-fiction books such as Zero to One or How Google Works, I’ve always been fond of books. I’ll be getting back to reading both Fiction and Non-Fiction, focusing more on the latter. Below I’ve shared the list of the books I’ll be going through in coming 6 months.
  2. Writing. Writing to me has been an escape — An escape from day to day happenings. A place where I can safely put down my thoughts, feelings without the constant fear of getting judged. Now, I’ve decided to go much more mainstream with writing. I’m not sure how exactly this would materialize but hoping to gain some momentum real soon.

Books —

  1. Boom Country? The New Wave of Indian Enterprises — Alan Rosling
  2. Sapiens — Yuval Harari
  3. Hooked, How to Build Habit-Forming Products — Nir Eyal
  4. Scoring Points, How Tesco Is Winning Customer Loyalty — Clive Humby, Terry Hunt, and Tim Phillips
  5. 1984 — George Orwell
  6. The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck — Mark Manson
