Any goodlooking, active, in shape woman translates her currency into the pursuit of youth — not the slightest bit concerned about seeking men even 25 years younger?
Julia things go the other way too.

Be careful with categorical absolutes. They compromise the credibility of your argument.

This good-looking, active, in shape woman almost exclusively prefers older men. Significantly older. Older men who take care of themselves physically, yes — but I’ll take buff 52 over buff 26 any day. And it’s not about money, either. It’s about what turns me on.

Like Julia said, we all have preferences and shouldn’t be shamed for them. And I agree that men have been shamed for desiring younger women. And younger women shamed for desiring older men. And that’s some bullshit and it needs to stop.

If we strive to make ourselves as attractive as we can, why wouldn’t we pursue those to whom we are most attracted? And, as you said, youth is attractive to many (albeit not all) people.

I guess my point is that I agree that it takes all kinds and we need to stop shaming desire.

No one is entitled to anyone else’s attraction or affection.
