I totally respect your choice, but I lean towards tradition and think sharing a last name symbolizes the formation of a single family unit. It’s when your life becomes about we, not me.

Lucky for me, my wife couldn’t wait to change her last name to mine, and I don’t think I’d be as okay with her keeping hers as your husband was.
