What is an Entrepreneur?

I have a beautiful wife, two amazing boys, and the best friends in the world! Some are Millionaire Entrepreneurs, some are Billionaire Entrepreneurs and some of my best friends are simply people who go out and confront poverty, illiteracy, criminality and injustice and they DO something effective about the situations they confront. In the photo above are some of my best friends from around the world. One of them has nearly singlehandedly raised the literacy level of poor children in India. One of them has spent over 20 years helping children learn to read in Compton and Watts. One of them is my wife, who in addition to being my best friend, has helped people live better lives in several different countries. My friends are people who change the world for the better. Some are millionaires who donate to great causes and some are just directly doing something effective to better the living conditions around them. We need both if we are going to successfully help this planet survive and thrive.

My definition of Entrepreneur is:

“A person who takes an idea, product or service and does whatever it takes to introduce it to the marketplace and produce income in abundance.

The idea could be a new procedure or a new way to provide a service.

The product could be something simple as a fingernail clipper or it could be as complicated as a new electricity storage device.

The entrepreneur knows more about his product or service than anyone else. The entrepreneur is constantly learning more and more about his product, service and his market.

An entrepreneur doesn’t think about failure or barriers, he thinks only about his goal.

An entrepreneur’s intention to get his product out never waivers.

Failure is not an option.

Persistence is the key characteristic.

(Persistence = Tenacious, strong willed, tireless, unshakable, unyielding and steadfast.)

Entrepreneurs can be anyone.”

You can be whatever you want to be in this life.

You can do what you want to do in this life.

You can have whatever you want to have in this life.

There are no limits. But I will give you one piece of advice. If you help others, you will find you will achieve your goals much more quickly, and you will have much more fun.

Live a beautiful life! Start!
