Wonder

Wonder is about a boy who has a face deformity and his struggles when he first joins school in the fifth grade.

It starts off with him being homeschooled until he overheard his parents talking about him going to school. That is when he gets mad, but the principal’s name was me.tushman so his dad made him laugh so he wanted to go to school. That is when everybody starts calling him the freak and he only has 2 friends. Later on in the book, there is some thing called the war. It is people on August, the kid with the deformity, and his friends vs everyone else. Gradually everybody likes August. as August survived all of this , he was awarded the Henry Beecher award which was the award for the best student.

I enjoyed this book because it wasn’t too slow or fast and it kept you wanting to read the book.
