Hi, I’m a regular person frustrated with the recent “shit on this guy” attitude everyone has for each other, but lately it seems even more focused on Roger Ver.
“Roger is also an ex-convict…”
So are literally hundreds of millions of other people in the world, are they not allowed to have opinions?
“from being a positive force trying to push Bitcoin forward, he has now become a negative force trying to cripple the system.”
Says the guy who wrote a post shitting all over somebody else.
“Bitcoin.com: The propaganda machine”
The entire post is worded like propeganda and it’s not-so-ironically complaining about propeganda.
“In a desperate attempt to monetize the website…”
Does anyone ‘desperately’ need to monetize websites? Seems like a regular online business idea, what does this have to do with anything?
“You can call it buying hashrate or you can call it a bribe… I call it a bribe. He’s allowed to of course, just says a lot about him.”
I don’t know what this “says about him” at all. If I pay for somebody to mine Bitcoin for me, does that make me a bad person?
And those little quotes aren’t even the start of the ad hominem issues with this unnecessarily angry post. The post ends with the most random and loosely crafted fuck you:
“A couple of months ago I was talking with a Bitcoin developer, he claimed that he had a source close to Ver that said he was starting to lose it. His recent actions are just more proof of that. The lies, the bribing.. He is like a cornered animal, but one with a lot of money.
Maybe he’s just not that smart.”
