Good interview Chris. Picking up on a small part of it, I would be interested in reading a piece outlining your reasons for preferring an independent Scotland within the EU rather than a United Kingdom outside of the EU.

Ignoring the fiscal transfers within the UK, I would posit that the key benefit of union is supporting your partners when they hit trouble. I’m not sure Germany’s treatment of Greece is to be preferred to rUK’s treatment of Scotland following the crash. Given that, why would you throw Scotland’s lot in with the EU rather than sticking with the UK?
