QUESTION 1:
What are assumptions of linear model?
here are four assumptions associated with a linear regression model:
1. Linearity: The relationship between X and the mean of Y is linear.
Usually a straight line which is X vs Y.
2. Homoscedasticity: The variance of residual is the same for any value of X.
Opposite of Homoscedacity is Heteroscedasticity, which is variance of residual increases for value of X as shown below in the image. As X increases so does the variance between the values.
