Did you know you can send or gift out NFTs via Email, or Wallet?
Thanks to WAX io Blockchain and its ever-growing perks, sending or gifting NFTs has become easier than ever. Users can send out NFT gifts to their loved ones, followers, or anybody using multiple options such as;
- Via Twitter
Here, users can send WAX io NFTs or gift NFTs to their followers on X (formerly Twitter) using their WAX wallet address (dropped via DMs or on the comment section).
This is a very direct process and usually takes less than a minute to complete. Once sent, the receiver would need to check their WAX wallet to see the nft. This makes giveaways, quests and other social activities done on social media platforms fun.
2. Via Email
Here, all you need do is input their email address and click the send button.
Steps:
Go to: WAX Gift NFT
Connect your wallet: Cloudwallet
Then select the nft collection and template you want to gift out, as shown below.
I selected the “Metaforce” Collection here and the NFT is “#1898 Magiisto — Sticker”.
I used my email while testing this and clicked send.
You should get the “Approval Prompt” on your Cloud wallet. Click Approve to accept the transfer.
Hurray!!!! The transfer went successfully and I also got email notifications.
Click on the message to claim the nft.
Click the “ Claim NFT “ button and approve the transaction. This will automatically send the wallet to your collection.

3. Via Wallet
You only need the recipient’s WAX wallet address to push through with this type of transfer. This is one of the most widely used methods of sending and gifting NFTs and tokens too.
On the Cloud wallet, you can click the transfer button on the particular NFT you want to send and you’ll be prompted to input the recipient’s details.
Here, I tried sending the NFT to myself (lol).
The transaction did not go through though, “ invalid account “. I tried with another user’s wallet address and I got the prompt for “final approval”.
