Things have changed since I stopped scrolling for shits on social media

I am happier than before
I am less distracted
I have more alone time (not lonely)
I have more time to meditate
I have more time to focus on important things
I have more time to think
I have more time to read
I have more time to write
I have more time to do yoga
I have more time to take care of myself
I have more time to be outside
I have more time to take a walk
I have more time to do cycling
I have more time for face-to-face relationships
I have much more positive mind
I feel more self-assured
I feel less anxious
I feel less like a failure
I feel less stressful

I am on facebook sometimes but in a certain Facebook community not on Facebook feed.
I hid the apps on my phone.
I used to bookmark Facebook feed but re-bookmarked the Facebook community recently.
I sometimes check the feed like once a week. After one or a few minutes so, I close the app or browser because it makes me tired.
I changed my habit intentionally about two months ago.
I would say it is easier than you think.
Give it a try if you are interested or you want to live a real life!

I was inspired by this article (http://www.theminimalists.com/internet/) by Joshua Fields Millburn a.k.a. The Minimalists (http://www.theminimalists.com/about/#the_mins).
I do have the access to the Internet in my room, but I am trying to change the relationship with the Internet.
I am a huge fan of The Minimalists and read the book Essential: Essays by The Minimalists (http://www.theminimalists.com/ee/) whenever I have time.
I joined Less Is Now Tour 2017 when they came to Vermont. They gave each audience a big hug, and they are great guys. I really hope they will come to Japan!
