Creative balancing is the key…

“Life begins at the confluence of extreme possibilities!” #picture from the trip where I experienced the best of both worlds

Just like all Management theories surge for the optimal solution and the Economics strives to achieve equilibrium, such are the facets of life, constantly challenging you to find balance and rise above.

I am passionately curious, inquisitive and a rambler yet I dread to answer questions — for I do not exist at extremes, everything is relative and I have no absolute answers.

Success at work meant finding balance between my creative passions and work priorities, between free thinking and context-driven collaboration, between problems of work life and curiosities of personal life. Nonetheless I often struggle to explain what is that I can do differently — for the world often consider you different based on your technical abilities and agility of mind is still an underdog.

I love to travel, but I am not a mountain or beach person, nor am I a backpacker or a relaxed traveler; I travel for happiness, for exploring the world, for gaining perspective — I enjoy trekking alone in the wilderness and yet I often take breaks to soak in luxury. What may seem as hypocrisy to the world looking for specific answers, is part of my holistic development. It is not a soul searching exercise, it is just something that keeps me happy, albeit I often end up finding a little bit more about me in such experiences.

I am lazy at times and super-efficient with my workout routine, and this is not so baffling if only one understands that it’s hard to be associated to a specific characteristic, but a lot easier to channelise your energy into something that you enjoy (even at point in time!).

The gregarious animal in me is always up for adventure and discussions, my friends will argue; and the others would simply pass on me as an introverted listener. And I have never had a desire to understand which category I fit in, for what is essential is; to listen, understand, and empathise to be able to appreciate the world around me and express myself often to be part of this world.

In the world full of visionaries, we are often looking for precise answers, but true creativity may not always be in finding point answers, it’s in exploring the realms of unknown possibilities, managing everything together, balancing the odds and the positives; and thus solving the problem in most effective way and unraveling new opportunities.

In the times when you feel low, rest assured if you are able to balance everything, you are doing well. For passion will always find its way, a self-directed creative may not fit in the traditional moulds but will always know how to channelise their energy and drive further to make a real difference.
