At Ease

Tell me some story,

For I got a large heart today.

One which pleases and plays,

Sinks, gets me to plead

Drips, and bleeds.

Recall some old tale,

Blemished, time tainted.

Nothing too fancy,

Just variously painted.

Certain velvet, some green,

Let us forget, all we seen;

Fall as a lone stone,

Comes tumbling down,

The sound resounds,

On the ground, all around.

A tale of wonders,

Or maybe mundane,

To fill in the ease,

To float lazily.

I'll bring in the scatter,

We'll sit through the songs.

Cakes and caresses,

Many, too many...
