As an educator, I feel I have a duty to inform everyone that this is not accurate. People have expressed preferred learning styles but there is no evidence that one learns better by focusing on that specific style.
I agree with the overall point of the article and I believe everyone should spend time experiencing new things to keep their mind active and engaged.
Thanks for writing this! There are some aspects I take issue with as a chemistry/physics teacher, especially since I advocate for integrating more math into all courses. That being said, I do think that the overall point of the article is spot on and I propose a different solution.
