Does your xinput look like this:

$ xinput

Did you blacklist i2c_hid just to get two finger scroll working?

There is a new fix you can use. Add

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-proposed restricted main multiverse universe

to your /etc/apt/sources.list and update to kernel 3.13.0-32-generic and things should just work!
