Brave new world, v.2.0.

“The future is already here — it’s not very evenly distributed”
“The question isn’t who is going to let me.. But who’s going to stop me..”

If you’re younger than 25, I have got a news for you: world, as you know it, is dead. You’ll have to relearn it from scratch.

If you’re older than 25 (like myself), I have got even worse news for you: world, as you know it, is dead. Adapt or die. Just as people of 1913 couldn’t get that 19th century is over until 1939, so you don’t.

I have news for both of you: you can make this less painful than 1914–1960 and much faster.

Why I know it?..

I was 16 when Soviet Union collapsed. It was fast. It was magnificent. And no one seen a sign of it before it did.

Now the signs are all over the place, but only if you’re figured to see them. Which most people aren’t.

As in USSR in 1990–1991, things are going decentralized, independent, and lively. Those, who trust less in centralized stuff, prosper. Those, who stuck in the “business as usual” — suffer.

This is powered by 3 things:

  • ubiquitous connectivity;
  • availability of information and tools to process it and make decisions, using them;
  • skills to tap peers to make decisions and proceed with actions, instead of waiting for a permission.

The problem is that the infrastructure, the utilities, we all love to use everyday, they depend on “the world, as we know it”.

..And no-one gives a damn…

This can’t stay in stasis for long.

Key Crypto Ventures is created to research and invest in decentralized, distributed, open, and jurisdictionless solutions, to provide services in the following categories:

  • food
  • housing
  • energy generation and storage
  • logistics
  • telecom, and information processing
  • local governance and enforcement
  • safety and defense
  • health
  • education
  • insurance, well-being, and sustainability

We will focus on open source decentralized tokenized protocols with clear unit economy and go-to-market strategy.

We will bring tools, required to rebuild this world on the new grounds.

…Ab initio…
