Humility blog post

In my opinion mentor is the one who support, encourage and guide you in those critical situation when you feel lot of challenges in your success. I know many people helped me at different occasions in my life but the one person that helps me a lot with his wisdom and knowledge is my teacher Dr. Faheem. He has a great command over the practical and fundamental theoretical knowledge of chemical engineering field.

One day, I was very upset due to my final year project. We were performing material and energy balance as group over the entire plant but there were many misconceptions in our mind. No one was ready to help us including our project advisor. Then, I went to the office of Dr. Faheem umm my mentor and asked him for some help regarding our project. He asked me bring two specific books from my department library. Then he guides us in a proper way without any spoon feeding.

The main thing was that he imposed a condition on us to check the material balance after two days. He engaged with us properly to make sure that we are bound to do what he has assigned us in effective way.

That’s why I feel proud to make him my mentor he encourage or discourage the students only for their welfare not for any personal reason. There are two main requirements to work with sir Faheem
