‘But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.’ ~Umberto Eco

  • When curses not so strong
    pierce through your vanity,
    when this arbitrary vessel
    this ever-subsisting soul
turns vile, turns rusty, turns foul
when the last vestiges of mercy doth fail
    and wits begin to unsettle
    turn this landmass, this sea
turn lifeless. A non vital being.
