Step 1 — SIGN UP ~ 2 min.

Enter your email address and create a strong password. Then, login to the email you provided, and confirm your e-mail address.

Click the link to verify your email.

Step 2 — START VERIFICATION ~ 5–10 min.

Once logged in, enter your account settings by clicking the small man in the top right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear. Click “My Profile”.

It will automatically redirect you to the Identity Verification page. Click “Start Verification”.

1. Enter your Legal Name & Residential Address:

a. First Name, Last Name, City, Postal Code/ZIP, Country, State/ Province, and Address Line 1

Remember to use your real name because photo — identification is required

2. Enter your Employment details:

a. Nature of Business, Employment Status, Source of Funds, Source of crypto, and your Social Security Number (SSN)

Verify you entered the SSN correctly. The other employment details are not as important

3. Enter your Phone Number (Mobile phone)

a. Select the appropriate country code and enter your cell phone number without spaces

For US Virgin Islanders, select US (+1) as the Country Code and enter the area code as part of the number. Do not select Virgin Islands (+1340) Country Code because it may produce an error.

4. Click “Submit” and NEXO will automatically send a verification code to the number you provided.

Step 3 — COMPLETE VERIFICATION ~ 10–18 min.

After entering the code, you should automatically return to the “My Profile” page. Then Click “Continue Verification”. Next, Click “Verify Identity”. Start the process and select the ID type. Driver’s license is the easiest in my opinion.

“Continue on mobile” is easier and you can visit the link by email or QR code.

IF USING A DESKTOP/LAPTOP, DO NOT CLOSE THE PAGE WHILE ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE !

3 pictures are required for Driver’s License Verification: Front of ID, Back of ID, Selfie. Make sure the ID pictures are clear and easy to read.

After uploading your selfie (Step 3 of 3), it should tell you that your verification has been submitted.

Wait for an email from NEXO telling you whether or not your verification has been approved.

Step 4— TOP UP ACCOUNT WITH $100

DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOUR PROFILE PAGE DOES NOT SHOW AS FULLY VERIFIED (see Step 2)

Click “Account” at the top of the screen and select your preferred asset.

Click “Top Up” (for example: Tether)

Send at least $100 worth of cryptocurrency to the “Deposit Address”, or purchase the coin you want using a credit card.

Step 5— WAIT 30 DAYS

Your deposited money will accrue interest daily if “Earn Interest” is available for it. As of this writing, only Bitcoin (BTC), Nexo Token (NEXO), Ripple (XRP), Binance Token (BNB), and Stellar (XLM) earn interest.

After 30 days, you can withdraw the $100 deposit plus an additional $25 in BTC.

I suggest depositing Stablecoins (USDT, USDC, TUSD, DAI or USD), or a little more than $100 to account for drops in price. The deposit must retain a value of at least $100 for the holding period.
