Chichen Itza Tour Starts

The tour I signed up with Amigo Tours went ahead without any changes to the destination. The bus departed from Cancun, picked up me and a few other participants in Playa del Carmen, then picked up the remaining participants in Tulum and headed northwest.

In the van, the tour guide urged the participants to introduce themselves individually. By the way, I was the only Japanese participant.

Coba Ruins

Zona arqueológica de Coba

This protected area contains ruins such as pyramids built during the Mayan civilization.

The tour did not include the entrance fee to the Coba ruins, so we had to pay for it ourselves. The entrance fee here is only accepted in cash, 100 MXN (5.5 USD). They do not accept credit cards, so prepare cash before visiting.
