I failed and that’s okay

I’ve been lazy for the past two weeks (or three? I don’t quite remember).

I failed to wake up early in the morning.
I failed to write on Medium.
I failed to practice coding.
I failed to submit my assignments before the deadline.
I failed to meet my weekly goals.
I failed to ….
I failed ….
I ….
….

There is one thing I’m proud to admit though. I completed reading a book. It’s called The Girl with Seven Names.

The book is about a young North Korean defector’s story.

I’m glad that I read it. So glad. It was painfully beautiful. I recommend you to read it.

After reading the book, I became conscious of the world around me.

People fail in a lot of things for a lot of reasons. It is not uncommon to fail. Failure is a part of life that you cannot escape from. There is no shame in failing.

I’m at liberty to fail unlike people in North Korea.

I can fail.

I can start all over again.
