As the ANGELS fly down seeding Kerala

Seeding Kerala ’17 was the first of its kind in Kerala where Kerala Startup Mission, Let’s Venture and Konglo joined hands to bring in government decision makers, Venture capitals, potential investors, and fund awaiting startups together. the event marked an audience of 100+ entrepreneurs and a 20+ wanna be investors in the presence of IT Secretary, Kerala M Sivasankar IAS and the venture capital firms namely Exseed fund(Mahesh Murthy & Kris Nair), Ankur Capital(Krishnan Neelakandan), Let’s Venture(Shanthi Mohan & Sunitha Ramaswamy), Matrix(Raghav Nagarajan), Unicorn Ventures(Anil Joshi), Qualcomm Ventures(Venugopal Sathyanarayana) and Konglo Ventures(Vinod Jose).
Experienced shared by Chandrashekar Balagopal of Terumo Penpol, Abhilash Krishna of Good Methods Global, Afsal Salu of Delyver and Varun Chandra of Corporate360 ignited the fund seeking startups.

What started off as two sessions each on how to make an investment and how to get invested in startups have turned out to be a two-day consortium of knowledge sharing and reasoning.
The best thing about conferences and seminars are an exchange of thoughts and flow of opinions. And what I have learned?
1. The problem is not the availability of funds it’s about products that are investment ready or which are scalable or business model which have the hockey stick curve.
2. No one is born as an entrepreneur and entrepreneurship is not a trait whereas its a quality harnessed over time by hard work with lots of passion mixed and wrapped.
3. It’s important to know how to articulate your idea or model when you look for angels for investment and equally important to have an emotional resilience with the same.
4. One needs to step out of his/her comfort zone to push their boundaries and to be satisfied he/she have to dodge or jump over the challenges that come.

Being TRUE, being HARDWORKING and being PASSIONATE are the investment you have to make and the rest will tag along. :)
